We’re standing in a rare window of time: the days between eclipses and the upcoming Autumn Equinox 2025 (September 22, 2025). Astrology circles are buzzing about this, and for good reason. These two cosmic events act like energetic bookends, shaking us out of old patterns while inviting balance, renewal, and deeper alignment.
As someone who has both observed and felt these shifts personally, I want to share what this energy means, how it might be stirring up your emotions, and a simple way to anchor yourself in grace.
The Eclipse Effect: Shaking the Ground Beneath Us
Eclipses are cosmic reset buttons. They reveal shadows; sometimes through sudden changes, uncomfortable truths, or emotional intensity. In my own life, I noticed it play out at work. During the eclipse window, conversations that had been long avoided suddenly rose to the surface. It wasn’t easy. It felt raw, messy, and uncertain.
But here is the thing about eclipses: they don’t come to punish us. They come to realign us. What surfaced for me was a deeper need for trust, space, and healing in our relationship. Without the eclipse’s intensity, I may have brushed it aside.
If you have been feeling heightened emotions, unexpected shifts in work, relationships, or even your health; know that it’s part of the eclipse energy doing its work.
The Equinox Promise: Restoring Balance
On September 22, 2025, we meet the Autumn Equinox, a moment when day and night stand in equal measure. This celestial balance is our invitation to find equilibrium within.
If the eclipse energy feels like the storm, the Equinox is the calm after it. Where the eclipse says, “This needs to change”, the Equinox whispers, “Now, breathe. Now, integrate."
Personally, I love the Equinox because it feels like a pause button. I often take a journal, light a candle, and ask myself: What do I want to carry forward into the next season? And what am I finally ready to put down?
How This Energy Affects Our Emotions:
Restlessness & Overthinking: You may feel more mental chatter than usual. White Chestnut in Bach Flower terms has been my friend during this time.
Heightened Intuition: Vivid dreams, sudden insights, or déjà vu moments.
Emotional Releases: Tears, anger, or even laughter bubbling up unexpectedly. Trust it. Energy is moving.
Desire for Change: You might suddenly feel ready to quit a job, start a project, or shift your relationships. Pause and wait till after the Equinox before making big moves; you will gain clarity.
A Simple Spiritual Ritual for Equinox to Anchor in Grace
Here is a short meditation and ritual you can try between now and the Equinox, to navigate the cosmic shifts
1. Set Your Space
Light a candle or incense. Place a bowl of water near you to symbolize cleansing.
2. Breathe & Center
Sit comfortably. Inhale for 4 counts, hold for 4, exhale for 4, hold for 4. Repeat 5 times.
3. Release
Whisper (or write) one thing you’re ready to let go of from this eclipse season. Drop the paper into the bowl of water, letting it dissolve or soak.
4. Balance
Place your hands on your heart and say:
“I am balanced. I am centered. I welcome the light and shadow as teachers. I move with grace."
5. Close
Pour the water into the earth (a plant, garden, or soil) to complete the ritual.
Channeled message:
Cosmic shifts like eclipses and equinoxes remind us that we are part of something larger; a rhythm that holds both chaos and harmony. The trick is not to resist the shake-ups but to meet them with awareness, compassion, and grace.
Ekta says: If this season feels overwhelming, remember; you don’t need to do everything at once. Just pause, breathe, and allow yourself to be guided by the rhythm of the cosmos. I am holding space for you to navigate this season gently. Let the Eclipse reveal what it must, and let the Equinox restore your balance. Trust that whatever is falling away is making room for a more authentic, aligned version of you
Love, Light &
Blessings
Ekta
